Tailored Support For Mothers & Families
Every mother's post birth experience is different, and so is the support we provide. Our trained team members act as thoughtful, listening peers. They help coordinate a personalised network of care, including meals, household help, healthcare guidance, emotional check-ins, and referrals to mental health or GP services when needed.

HEALTHY MEALS FROM OUR Community Kitchen
Our Community Kitchen carefully prepares thousands of fresh, nutritious meals every year for new mothers and families.
These meals are thoughtfully designed to sustain mothers during the physically and emotionally demanding postnatal period, giving them the nourishment they need to recover and care for their babies.
Their families benefit greatly as well, as the delicious meals are appealing to both adults and children. In addition, women receive a delicious lunch delivered with a smile once a week, helping them feel truly seen, supported, taken care of, and loved.
Every meal is certified kosher and prepared with the highest standards of care, catering to a variety of dietary needs so that every mother feels welcomed, nourished, and included. Our 30-strong volunteer team cook and deliver meals, supported by qualified staff.

“I wanted to send a big thank you to the entire Mother to Mother catering team who prepared the most delicious meals when my baby was born. The meals were honestly lifesavers - it was a joy to have something hot and nutritious waiting for my older children after school.”

Support from our Experienced Team of Volunteers
From delivering baby scales directly to a mother’s doorstep - often easing worries and preventing unnecessary GP visits - to preparing, packaging, and delivering carefully balanced meals for entire families, our volunteers bring care into the home in the most practical and heartfelt ways.
They also play a vital role at our own events and wider community gatherings, helping to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere and promote a strong sense of community spirit.

"The food has been absolutely delicious and such a gift during this busy season. Life with two little ones and a newborn has been beautiful but overwhelming at times, and having dinners and Shabbat sorted made things so much easier and less stressful.”

"My Family Liason Officer was an incredible support during those first few weeks.
She dropped off a wonderful lunch every Monday and would often sit with me for up to an hour and just listen to me vent. She would then follow up with me throughout the week and check that I was doing okay.
This was an incredible help and support, and knowing there was someone at the end of the phone available to reach out to was hugely helpful. I want to take this opportunity to really thank her for all the time she invested in me over those weeks - she truly was a huge support."
